You don’t have to visit Bikini Bottom to see SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick. This real-life sea sponge and starfish were spotted on an underwater mountain about 200 miles from New York City. A remote-controlled vehicle called a submersible took video of the colorful look-alikes more than a mile deep in the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike SpongeBob and Patrick, this pair definitely are not friends. This kind of sea star actually eats sponges!
